Class Profile Guidelines
ü Each class is required to submit two pages of their class profile to the CAL Editorial Board, which is also known as CARPE DIEM by 6th of October 2008.
ü There had been a meeting for all class reps approximately one month back on this issue.
ü Please do take note that the following class reps had not turned up for the meeting: PM 4, PM 6, PM 8, PM 9, PM 17, PM 18, PM 19, PM 20, PE 6, PE 7, PB 4, PB 6, and PL 1.
ü Here, we provide as much information we could to assists you to complete your task. Any further enquiries should be emailed to
yuvaraj_18@hotmail.com or call Yuvaraj Sugapathy at 012-2970052. It will also be useful for you to have a talk with the class reps from other classes who attended to the meeting to get a clearer picture on this task.
ü Basically, a class profile is a page in the magazine where you can include pictures of your class (classmates, and optionally your lecturers) and design it in your desired way. This will serve as a memorabilia for you as you leave Taylor’s upon the end of your course.
ü You are required to design 2 pages, both colour pages. We will then choose which page will be colour and which page will be in black and white.
ü Your work can be done via Photoshop, Illustrator or any other programs you are familiar with.
ü The colour mode of your work should possibly done in CMYK.
ü The pixels for your work should be 300 dpi.
ü The size of your work should meet the following size:
260 mm by 190mm
ü While the background colour of you work should cover the entire page, the images should be left about 5mm to 10 mm away from each side of the page. This is to ensure the quality of the image not affected during the printing process.
